Jr./Sr. High Kraft Dinner Lunches

During the school year (September to June) we host free Kraft Dinner lunches on Thursdays for our local Jr./Sr. High school (KISH). Volunteers from our congregations, as well as others from neighbouring churches, serve hot KD lunches to local youth. The great cookie bakers in the community provide fresh home-baked cookies each week, and the local bake shop provides rolls or bread for the lunches. 

This outreach provides a safe space and time for friendly conversation and fellowship with some  members from all the faith community in our area. There is no requirement to come to worship on Sunday but the meal shows that church buildings are not so intimidating  for those who have not entered the doors before.
